Frazier History Museum

The League of Women Voters of Louisville (LWVL), along with their sponsoring partners, the Frazier History Museum and the Louisville Metro Office for Women, is sponsoring a celebration of Women’s Equality Day by presenting a program entitled Speaking Out. Educating Women. This event will honor the struggle and accomplishments of women educators in our community. Invited to participate are three women university presidents: Dr. Tori Murden-McClure of Spalding University, Dr Susan Donovan of Bellarmine University, and the new President of the University of Louisville, Dr. Neeli Bendapudi.

This gathering will be held at the Frazier History Museum on Saturday morning, August 25, 2018, from 10:30 to 12:30, and is free and open to the public. The goal is to educate about the history of women winning the right to vote, to understand the current status of voting rights and to develop a plan to expand voting rights.
